Responsibilities include scheduling, calendaring, case file organization, legal document preparation, deadline tracking, client and court communication, medical-record management, discovery and subpoena responses, and trial exhibit preparation. The role requires strong organization, confidentiality, communication, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 and PDF editing software. Litigation, legal software, AI tools, social media, and personal injury experience are preferred.

Independently manage complex trucking, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and appellate cases from intake through trial and appeal. Responsibilities include case strategy, discovery, depositions, motion practice, settlement negotiations, trial advocacy, appellate briefing and arguments, client communication, and mentoring legal staff. The attorney will apply FMCSA and state trucking regulations, collaborate with experts, and travel as cases require.

Conduct legal research and analysis for trucking litigation and catastrophic injury matters. Draft memoranda, briefs, motions, pleadings, and case analyses; research FMCSA regulations, trucking operations, and relevant case law; support discovery, depositions, hearings, mediation, trial preparation, and case strategy. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and experts while managing multiple research assignments and deadlines in a remote or hybrid environment.
