Provide administrative and data support for a protein manufacturing facility: organize documents, collect and analyze production data, support continuous improvement, assist with CAPAs/SOPs/JHAs, help with production scheduling, and prepare presentation materials. Ensure compliance with food safety and quality policies and collaborate with operations and production teams.

Night-shift Production Supervisor leads a manufacturing team to ensure safe, compliant, on-time production of quality food products. Responsibilities include supervising workflow, training, troubleshooting equipment, enforcing cGMP/USDA/OSHA requirements, conducting audits, documentation, continuous improvement, and coordinating with plant leadership.

Prepare and reconcile plant inventory and cost accounting records, analyze variances, support monthly close and budgeting, automate cost processes, collaborate with production to improve yields and reduce costs, and produce management reports and ad hoc financial analyses.

Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives at a manufacturing facility using Lean and Six Sigma tools. Organize Kaizen events, train and mentor teams, analyze performance data, implement process improvements to reduce waste and cost, and track metrics to sustain gains while driving quality, safety, delivery, and morale improvements.

Lead development, troubleshooting, and optimization of manufacturing processes (drying, membranes, separation, fractionation) to deliver cost, quality, and control improvements. Use statistical tools and DOE, lead plant/supplier trials, implement process control solutions (PLCs/DCS), write capital requests, and coordinate cross-functional deployment and documentation across manufacturing sites. Travel to plants ~25%.

Provide process expertise to improve manufacturing productivity and efficiency through data-driven optimization, equipment troubleshooting, plant trials, and cross-functional project support. Lead commercialization post-start-up work with R&D, train staff, support capital/process engineering projects, and champion continuous improvement across multiple Essentia food plants.
