Coordinates high-volume hourly recruiting and onboarding for a manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include posting requisitions, reviewing resumes, conducting initial phone screens, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, tracking candidate flow, managing recruiting communications in Workday, maintaining records, supporting pre-employment requirements, and assisting with hiring events and community outreach.

Lead complex manufacturing initiatives that improve safety, quality, throughput, capacity, and cost. Develop manufacturing strategies, optimize and standardize processes, implement equipment and automation, manage capital projects, apply statistical problem-solving, establish engineering standards, and lead cross-functional teams. Mentor engineering and operations personnel while driving Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and scalable production capabilities in a high-volume steel case manufacturing environment.

Provide hands-on Quality Engineering for the shotshell product line: lead process improvements using SPC/DOE, drive Six Sigma projects, support supplier and capital projects, implement inspection/measurement systems, analyze quality data, and improve the quality management system (ISO 9000).

Design, program, and commission PLC-based automated manufacturing systems; develop HMI/SCADA; integrate vision, robotics, and servo motion; ensure NEC/OSHA and machine safety compliance; lead projects from concept through commissioning; troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and vision systems; mentor staff and integrate machine data with MES/IT systems.

Lead and execute capital and non-capital manufacturing projects, improve tooling/processes, introduce and industrialize new products, perform cost reduction and troubleshooting, manage engineering change orders, qualify suppliers/materials, conduct FMEAs, and coordinate cross-functional resources to support high-volume metal forming production.

Manufacture and repair tools, gauges, and machine components to blueprint tolerances. Set up and operate manual and CNC equipment, inspect parts using precision instruments, perform welding/fabrication, troubleshoot machines, maintain supplies and equipment, compute part cost estimates, and train backup operators while following safety procedures.

Lead development and optimization of high-volume steel processing operations including heat treatment, annealing/tempering, and steel forming/drawing. Recommend and evaluate furnaces and forming equipment, troubleshoot material and metallurgical issues, partner with vendors/consultants, and develop internal standards to improve process consistency and quality.
