Leads rifle ammunition product development from design through manufacturing launch. Responsibilities include product design, testing, documentation, quality specifications, budgeting, timelines, raw material qualification, technician coordination, equipment capability assessment, bills of materials, process improvement, failure analysis, vendor collaboration, and technical support for marketing. The role requires engineering or science education, materials and process knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and experience with Minitab or similar software.

Develops and improves manufacturing processes, tooling, equipment, and machine designs for ammunition production. Troubleshoots production issues, implements cost reductions, reviews drawings and bills of materials, supports equipment guarding and new product introduction, and manages major equipment failure projects involving capital expenditures, redesign, scheduling, and resources.

Develop and commercialize new ammunition products and manufacturing processes. Manage product development programs, testing, documentation, quality specifications, budgets, timelines, materials, and process validation. Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, manufacturing, marketing, vendors, and technicians. Evaluate equipment, improve processes, reduce waste, resolve design and production issues, conduct failure analysis, and lead cost-improvement and capital projects. Provide technical guidance in a hazardous manufacturing environment.

Leads rifle ammunition product development from design through manufacturing launch, managing testing, documentation, specifications, budgets, timelines, materials, and quality. Coordinates engineering technicians and cross-functional teams, evaluates equipment capabilities, develops bills of materials, improves processes, and resolves design or production issues through failure analysis. Supports Marketing with technical reviews and trade-show expertise while managing vendor and technical-resource relationships. The role requires engineering or science education, hands-on mechanical problem-solving, materials knowledge, and Minitab experience.

Leads capital and non-capital manufacturing engineering projects, including equipment and process design, project execution, tooling improvements, new product introduction, cost reduction, supplier and material qualification, troubleshooting, engineering changes, and FMEA. The role supports high-volume metallic parts manufacturing and collaborates with product development and factory teams in a hazardous ammunition production environment.
