Teams at The Institute for Human Services

Serve as a public-facing ambassador to build partnerships with schools, businesses, faith groups and media; support advocacy and policy engagement on homelessness; promote volunteer, fundraising, and community involvement to increase awareness and support for mission-driven services.

Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding; coordinate sourcing, screening, background checks, and offers; partner with managers and finance on labor allocations; run new-hire orientation and 30/60/90 check-ins; support employee relations and retention efforts; handle employment inquiries and ensure contract compliance.

Provide intensive case management for homeless individuals with serious mental illness: manage caseloads, develop Master Individualized Recovery Plans (MIRP), complete behavioral health assessments and LOCUS acuity determinations, coordinate services and outreach, support crisis intervention and documentation, and collaborate with the treatment team to secure housing and resources.
