The Heritage Foundation Benefits Overview

Manages the organization’s benefits, retirement plans, payroll operations, HRIS processes, insurance portfolio, vendor relationships, open enrollment, and regulatory reporting. Oversees compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, supports employees with benefits and leave questions, negotiates renewals, and recommends data-driven program improvements. The role also leads payroll provider coordination, retirement plan audits, and benefits communications.

Maintains CRM and marketing automation data accuracy, integrity, and usability. Administers CRM systems, manages imports and exports, performs data hygiene, builds digital audiences, supports email marketing campaigns, monitors deliverability, troubleshoots user issues, coordinates vendors, and provides reporting and analysis. The role also supports end users through training and technical assistance while partnering with departments to improve data capture and validation.

Leads strategic Focus Areas from planning through execution, translating priorities into timelines, deliverables, and accountability. Coordinates cross-functional teams across policy, communications, marketing, development, government relations, and events; removes obstacles, drives decisions, and tracks performance. Maintains dashboards, reports risks and results to senior leadership, supports audience engagement, and applies lessons learned to improve future initiatives.
