The role manages sensitive cases, supports national and expatriate employees, builds local HR capability, and travels regularly to field locations, including insecure or remote operational camps.

Provides technical leadership for weapons and ammunition management operations across Central America. Responsibilities include assessing armouries and explosives storage facilities, developing and delivering technical training, advising security forces, supervising ammunition storage and transport, ensuring compliance with IATG, MOSAIC, IMAS, and national standards, supporting construction and SOP development, maintaining operational data, and conducting regular field visits in Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador.

Leads HR strategy and team management for HALO Trust Colombia, overseeing workforce planning, recruitment, payroll, onboarding, performance management, learning, wellbeing, labour relations, compliance, safeguarding, and administrative support. Advises senior management on people decisions and HR risks while ensuring alignment with Colombian labour legislation. Requires strong HR leadership, payroll expertise, English proficiency, and regular travel to regional locations.

The Finance Officer supports international programmes through donor financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, grant monitoring, monthly journal preparation, reconciliations, and compliance activities. The role assists with audits, statutory requirements, donor regulations, and implementing partner financial reviews. It requires strong finance experience, advanced Excel data-analysis skills, and excellent communication. A finance, accounting, business administration, or related bachelor's degree is desirable.
