Assists teachers with classroom management, daily routines, child supervision, care, bathroom trips, naptime, paperwork, meetings, and training. Maintains confidentiality and required staff-to-child ratios. The role requires effective communication, physical mobility, emergency response capability, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Experience with preschool-aged children, early education settings, HighScope curriculum, and children with disabilities is preferred.

Coordinates person-centered services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include developing service plans, coordinating referrals, monitoring providers and client satisfaction, maintaining documentation, providing family training and crisis intervention, conducting outreach, completing assessments and audits, delivering community education, and collaborating with families and service teams. The role requires community-based work, regular documentation, ongoing training, and flexible scheduling that may include evenings or weekends.

Provides peer support to individuals receiving community mental health services through the ACT Program. Uses personal recovery experience to promote recovery, independence, wellness, education, employment, and community resource access. Facilitates workshops, support groups, and recovery activities; engages consumers in home and community settings; collaborates with the ACT team; and assists with overcoming barriers to managing mental illness. Requires a Michigan Peer Support Specialist certification and a valid chauffeur’s license.
