Manage regional perishable food sales across grocery and CPG accounts. Build customer partnerships, grow sales and margins, present product solutions, execute business plans, resolve issues, and deliver customer-focused strategies. The role requires corporate account management, sales negotiation, food or beverage industry experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, a valid driver’s license, and travel of 75% or more.

Provides administrative and analytical support to the Sales department by preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports, rebate accruals, customer damage tracking, customer analyses, and requested P&Ls. Coordinates with sales managers and cross-functional departments, supports meeting preparation, proofreads materials, and fills in for the front desk. Requires strong Excel, communication, mathematical, analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Source and screen candidates across diverse business functions, coordinate interviews and hiring logistics, manage applicant tracking and electronic onboarding, prepare job offers, support new-hire training, and maintain strong candidate and hiring-manager communication. The role also develops sourcing strategies, monitors recruiting metrics, supports employer branding, ensures legal hiring practices, and builds talent pipelines for current and future staffing needs.

Develop and maintain time-phased demand forecasts and supply plans for grocery SKUs. Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Marketing, Finance, and Logistics to convert forecasts into executable supply plans, lead S&OP processes, analyze POS and shipment data, monitor forecast accuracy, and balance service levels, inventory, and perishability across the supply chain.

Greet and assist customers in a made-to-order food department, take and communicate orders accurately, recommend products, package and label items, maintain cleanliness and food safety, support team during busy periods, and assist other store departments as needed. Weekend and early-shift availability required.

Review, research, reconcile, and resolve customer payment deductions. Validate deduction accuracy, obtain supporting documentation, coordinate with Accounts Receivable and Sales, recover invalid deductions, ensure valid credits, and communicate with internal teams and customers.

Serve as strategic liaison to key customers, driving service excellence, cost-to-serve improvements, growth initiatives, and cross-functional alignment. Own customer service metrics, lead joint business planning, use data to identify opportunities, and manage initiatives to optimize delivery, inventory, transportation, and promotional execution.

Support food production operations by preparing, assembling, scanning, filing, and finalizing manufacturing documentation to ensure GMP compliance; assist with audits, recordkeeping (COA, swabs, metal detection), cooler/scale checks, supply ordering, and internal partner queries.
