Build relationships with faith communities, recruit and develop local leaders, research community issues, organize direct-action assemblies, recruit congregations, coordinate trainings, and support annual fundraising. The role focuses on building collective power to address racial, economic, and social injustices. Extensive training and mentoring are provided, and the organizer must be available for some evening and weekend work, travel to training events, and local community engagement.

Work in the community building relationships across faith groups, recruit congregations, develop leaders through one-on-ones and trainings, organize large direct actions, coordinate fundraising, and attend local and national trainings to win racial and economic justice campaigns.

Lead RISC as Director of Organizing: hire and supervise staff, build grassroots faith leader engagement, train organizers, run community issue campaigns and large public actions, coordinate annual fundraising drives and dues collection, work with the board on strategy, oversee finances, and provide organizational development and training.

Organize and mobilize faith-based community members through relationship-building, one-on-ones, research, recruitment of congregations, trainings, direct actions, fundraising coordination, and local leadership development. Spend most time in-community and attend multi-day trainings.

Lead and grow a grassroots faith-based coalition: hire and supervise staff, train and recruit community leaders, design and run campaigns and large public actions, coordinate local fundraising and dues collection, manage organizational strategy and finances, and represent LIFE with board and partner organizations.

Provide outreach, trainings, and coordinate fundraising while spending most time in the community and supporting member-led campaigns.
