The Occupational Therapist Assistant provides direct rehab care to patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, following treatment plans, monitoring progress, and maintaining communication with healthcare team members.

Provide direct resident care in a skilled nursing facility: assist with ADLs, take and record vitals, prepare rooms/admissions, support therapy and meals, perform charting, carry out restorative programs, respond to call lights, ensure dietary compliance, maintain required training, and follow charge staff directions and regulatory protocols.

Assist Physical Therapists in providing rehabilitative therapy to patients, ensuring compliance with regulations, documenting progress, and adjusting treatments as necessary.
