Mechanical Engineering Intern supporting the design and improvement of mechanical systems and equipment. Responsibilities include analyzing specifications, creating production-ready designs and drafts using CAD tools, meeting engineering schedules, considering safety and manufacturability, resolving design issues with engineering and production personnel, and maintaining engineering drawings. The internship lasts at least two months and is intended for students developing practical mechanical engineering skills under experienced mentorship.

Designs electrical control schematics and panel layouts for automated production machinery. Specifies components, applies electrical codes and standards, collaborates with engineering, project management, sales, testing, and manufacturing teams, and provides technical project support. Requires knowledge of AC/DC applications, electrical ratings, basic electronic controls, CAD, and electrical design principles. Occasional customer-site travel may be required.

Summer 2027 controls engineering internship supporting startup, programming, and electrical design teams in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include configuring EtherNet/IP networks, installing and debugging PLC programs, checking I/O, tuning servo motors and VFDs, setting up HMIs, developing C# operator interfaces, working with SQL data, and demonstrating Rockwell PLC ladder logic under experienced engineer supervision.
