Teams at The Association of People with Disability (APD, India)

Coordinates horticulture training, manages State Home project activities, oversees plant production for sales, develops a vermicomposting initiative, and supports plant rental, décor, home-garden, and garden-maintenance services. Also organizes employee volunteering events and maintains project ownership across horticultural programs.

Leads regional mobilisation, partnerships, advocacy, and implementation for accessibility and disability-inclusion initiatives. Builds relationships with government, civil society, academic institutions, OPDs, volunteers, and other partners; scales accessibility audits and platform participation; conducts sensitisation and outreach; coordinates campaigns and collaborative projects; tracks KPIs; and prepares reports and implementation documentation. The role requires extensive regional travel, stakeholder facilitation, strong communication, and proficiency in English and relevant regional languages.

Supports the Pune office’s financial operations through bookkeeping, transaction recording, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, cash-flow monitoring, payroll support, budgeting, grant finance, reporting, statutory compliance, and audit coordination. The role maintains accurate financial records, supports internal controls and process improvements, monitors expenditure against budgets, and ensures confidential handling of financial information in accordance with organizational policies and regulations.
