Develop and optimize ultra-low-latency infrastructure for an equities trading platform, including matching engines, order routing, market data distribution, and real-time processing systems. The role involves processing millions of transactions per second, analyzing latency, optimizing networking and system performance, implementing fault-tolerant architectures, and collaborating with traders, developers, and exchange operations teams.

Supports daily trading, trade issue resolution, order-entry certification, user training, clearing and settlement, regulatory compliance, and client service for a securities exchange. Coordinates with broker-dealers, clearing firms, internal teams, and subcontractors; analyzes market and operational data; supports new clearing technologies; and identifies workflow improvements using automation, scripting, and AI tooling.
