The Senior Research Assistant/Associate will conduct vaccine research, optimize experiments, analyze data, and manage laboratory operations related to mucosal vaccines and immune responses.

The postdoctoral scientist will study HIV persistence and cure strategies using preclinical models, focusing on viral reservoirs and therapeutic strategies, while collaborating with various researchers.

Support molecular, immunology, and microbiology experiments (DNA/RNA isolation, PCR/qRT-PCR, tissue culture, media prep, bacterial culturing). Maintain lab supplies, inventories, and shipping/receiving of (non-)biohazard materials. Follow BSL2/BSL3 safety protocols and participate in medical monitoring and vaccination programs.

Perform BSL2/BSL3 mouse and NHP sample collection and processing, PBMC and BAL prep, drug dosing, small animal surgery and necropsies, CFU counts, lab maintenance, inventory and ordering, assist PI with experimental design, data analysis, training, and supervise junior technicians as needed.

Seeking experienced Staff Scientists to conduct infectious disease research, develop methodologies, mentor team members, and support grant applications in a BSL-3 and BSL-4 lab environment.

The Program Manager oversees research project execution, coordinates approvals and compliance with regulatory bodies, manages budgets, and communicates with stakeholders for a large laboratory focused on tuberculosis research.
