Leads the SNPRC Research Imaging Core, overseeing PET/CT and MRI programs, regulatory compliance, imaging protocols, data processing, isotope expansion, team development, and interdisciplinary research collaboration. The role supports veterinary and colony health imaging, develops innovative preclinical methodologies, manages research operations, and contributes to grant components and annual progress reports.

Oversee strategic breeding, population planning, genetic diversity, pedigree management, animal allocation, and reporting for baboon, rhesus macaque, and marmoset colonies. Supervise three colony managers, coordinate with veterinary staff on animal welfare, chair species advisory committees, prepare NIH grant and progress-report content, and report animal usage and availability. The role may also pursue independent primate research and funding.

Leads financial reporting, data integrity, contract accounting, invoicing, forecasting, and ERP process improvements for research contracts. Develops dashboards and KPI reports, integrates data from multiple systems, validates financial formulas, manages account setup and closeout, and coordinates with accounting and organizational leaders. Requires expert federal contract accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and experience with Power BI, SQL Reporting, and relational databases.

Conduct population and statistical genetic analyses of pedigreed nonhuman primate colonies, support genomic characterization and breeding strategies, participate in seminars, assist with grants and publications, and collaborate with investigators on NGS-based research.

The postdoctoral scientist will study HIV persistence and cure strategies using preclinical models, focusing on viral reservoirs and therapeutic strategies, while collaborating with various researchers.

Seeking experienced Staff Scientists to conduct infectious disease research, develop methodologies, mentor team members, and support grant applications in a BSL-3 and BSL-4 lab environment.

Support molecular, immunology, and microbiology experiments (DNA/RNA isolation, PCR/qRT-PCR, tissue culture, media prep, bacterial culturing).
