Supports scientific research projects within a PMO by managing timelines, documentation, study intake, meetings, risks, scope, budgets, sponsor deliverables, and compliance activities. The role coordinates study directors, technical teams, finance, quality, regulatory staff, and sponsors while developing project plans and monitoring concurrent studies through completion.

Leads the PMO for the Applied Science and Innovation unit, overseeing portfolio strategy, governance, standards, resource allocation, project execution, and performance reporting. Builds and scales PMO frameworks, develops staff, resolves interdependencies, forecasts resources, and drives Lean-based process improvements. Partners with scientific, technical, operational, sponsor, regulatory, and executive stakeholders to ensure programs meet scope, budget, timeline, quality, and strategic objectives.

Leads financial reporting, data integrity, contract accounting, invoicing, forecasting, and ERP process improvements for research contracts. Develops dashboards and KPI reports, integrates data from multiple systems, validates financial formulas, manages account setup and closeout, and coordinates with accounting and organizational leaders. Requires expert federal contract accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and experience with Power BI, SQL Reporting, and relational databases.
