Perform and optimize molecular and cellular biology experiments to study epigenetic regulation and viral reservoirs in SIV-infected macaques. Use sequencing (scRNA-seq/snATAC-seq), imaging (PET/CT, MRI), flow cytometry, in situ assays, and bioinformatics to analyze data. Contribute to manuscript and grant writing and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams on phytocannabinoid nanodelivery and gut-brain axis research.

Review and verify raw study data and documentation for Animal Rule studies, maintain organized paper and electronic study notebooks, ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices and SOPs, document findings and coordinate corrections, assist with CAPAs and deviation reports, and support audit-ready recordkeeping across multiple concurrent studies.

The postdoctoral scientist will study HIV persistence and cure strategies using preclinical models, focusing on viral reservoirs and therapeutic strategies, while collaborating with various researchers.
