The Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) is a voluntary, nonprofit, statewide education association that serves and represents local Texas school districts. With nearly 500 employees, TASB is one of the largest private, nonprofit associations in the state. Our members include all 1,029 Texas school districts, 20 regional education service centers, 50 community colleges, 16 tax appraisal districts, and 137 shared service arrangements. TASB represents the largest group of publicly elected officials in the state (more than 7,000 school board members) that serves over 4.9 million Texas students! Providing that day to day service to members is TASB's talented staff of mission-driven, service oriented individuals. From risk management to financial services, technology to training, we work in nearly 30 different program areas to meet member needs. Come join TASB and be part of something bigger: Supporting Texas public schools!
