Provide advanced business coordination and operational support including budget and account management, purchasing and accounts payable, travel and payroll support, financial reporting, records management, compliance, and fiscal year-end activities. Serve as primary business resource and liaison, assist with personnel processes, train staff, and ensure audit-ready documentation and adherence to university policies.

Recruit and advise prospective students and families on admissions, scholarships, and financial aid. Coordinate outreach with high schools, organize recruitment events, mentor/train staff, deliver presentations, and manage recruitment programs including travel, reporting, and community relations.

Lead maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of shipboard electrical, automation, and control systems (including HV power, propulsion, monitoring, and safety systems). Ensure compliance with USCG and class rules, prepare for inspections, mentor technical staff, and support cadet training while performing shipboard duties during underway and shipyard periods.

Provide strategic and operational leadership for campus budgeting and financial activities. Oversee budget development and administration, ensure compliance and risk management, support executive leadership with analyses and financial materials, manage business operations and contracts, serve on incident command and FEMA-related finance duties, and lead business personnel oversight and cross-campus agreement negotiations.

Stand watch and perform deck dayworker duties including maintenance, repair, painting, sanitation, and upkeep of ship equipment and areas. Launch and inspect lifesaving and damage-control gear, follow safety procedures, and participate in underway periods, training cruises, and shipyard periods as required.
