Part-time NSF-funded graduate research assistant supporting MS Biology thesis research using microbiological and molecular biology techniques on yeast. Duties include performing experiments, collecting and managing data, basic statistical analysis, developing assessment tools, presenting at conferences, and preparing publications. On-campus presence and adherence to academic progress and departmental scheduling requirements required.

Student worker supporting the Office of Information Technology Student Information Services: maintain SIS-based reports, provide SQL database application support, extract and analyze SIS data, ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, assist departments with SIS usage, and perform assigned tasks.

Support SANE grant research by collecting and managing data, ensuring IRB compliance, performing basic statistical analysis and coding, developing evaluation tools, and contributing to manuscripts and dissemination under faculty supervision.

Provide weekly one-on-one peer mentoring and academic advising, maintain confidential student records, support and present at workshops/events, prepare reports, attend meetings and trainings, and communicate with absent students.

Assist faculty with ongoing biology/chemistry research by collecting and managing data, learning analytical techniques for SmartChem-210 and Shimadzu TOC-L, performing basic statistical analyses, developing assessment tools, and providing laboratory support up to 10 hours weekly.
