Provides individualized career coaching, employee career planning, resume and interview support, education and tuition-assistance guidance, and career assessment services. Builds partnerships with colleges, trade schools, workforce organizations, high schools, and community groups. Maintains career plans and case notes in Workday, tracks workforce trends, supports trades talent pipelines, and travels approximately six weeks annually to employee sites.

Operate, set up, and optimize CNC machines to produce precision aerospace components. Responsibilities include reading engineering drawings and GD&T, performing inspections, documenting traceability, troubleshooting machining issues, maintaining quality and safety standards, supporting process improvements and first-article inspections, and mentoring less experienced machinists. The role requires compliance with AS9100, ITAR, export-control, and workplace safety requirements, with opportunities across Machinist Levels I, II, and III.

Support federal procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold: draft solicitations, process procurements, perform post-award actions, manage invoices and closeouts, advise on FAR and agency acquisition policies, and coordinate with USCG technical and program personnel to ensure compliant acquisitions.

Provides HR guidance to manufacturing managers and employees on employee relations, labor relations, performance management, compliance, and recruiting. Coordinates full-cycle hiring, job postings, interviews, offers, onboarding, background checks, and applicant tracking. Partners with vocational agencies to recruit employees with disabilities, investigates complex complaints, supports employment-law compliance, and advises managers on staffing, documentation, accommodations, and performance matters.

Supports approximately 300 employees through employee relations, conflict resolution, labor relations, training, compliance, leave administration, union coordination, HRIS administration, disciplinary processes, and employment-law guidance. Partners with managers, employees, unions, legal counsel, and vocational specialists to resolve workplace issues, maintain personnel records, support accommodations, conduct investigations, and improve HR processes. Requires occasional second-shift support and travel to Virginia twice annually.

Assists the Work Control Supervisor with maintenance work order administration, reporting, data accuracy, service order desk oversight, and production control operations. Supervises clerks, coordinates priorities with government representatives, manages work order extensions, trains employees, maintains documentation, audits customer concerns, and improves operational efficiency. The role supports 24/7/365 operations at a federal military installation and requires applicable security clearance eligibility and installation access.

Develop and maintain daily/weekly production schedules to meet customer delivery while maximizing manufacturing efficiency. Release and monitor work orders, coordinate across machining, assembly, inspection, purchasing, and shipping, resolve material shortages, identify capacity constraints, ensure ERP data accuracy and AS9100 compliance, and drive recovery and continuous improvement actions.

The Quality Planning and FAIR Specialist ensures products are quality-ready before production, leading FAIR preparation, inspection planning, and validation activities to prevent issues and improve efficiency.
