Processes simplified federal acquisitions for supplies and services under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. Duties include drafting solicitations, synopsizing requirements, ensuring FAR and agency compliance, managing post-award performance and invoices, closing orders, and advising Coast Guard personnel on acquisition requirements, modifications, and procedures.

Supervises galley operations across four naval-base facilities, ensuring sanitation, safety, service quality, staffing, training, scheduling, inventory, documentation, inspections, and contract compliance. Resolves personnel issues, supports employees with disabilities, maintains supplies and equipment, conducts site visits, and manages keys, vehicles, phones, and safety documentation. The role requires food-service experience, a Food Handler’s Card, a PIC certificate, Secret clearance eligibility, and access to a federal military installation.

Provides individualized career coaching, employee career planning, resume and interview support, education and tuition-assistance guidance, and career assessment services. Builds partnerships with colleges, trade schools, workforce organizations, high schools, and community groups. Maintains career plans and case notes in Workday, tracks workforce trends, supports trades talent pipelines, and travels approximately six weeks annually to employee sites.
