Manage month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, customer credit evaluations, AR aging and collections, cash reconciliations, and financial reporting. Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Treasury and Finance to resolve disputes, optimize cash flow, support audits, and drive process improvements and ERP/finance transformation initiatives.

Lead month-end close activities, prepare complex journal entries and accruals, own reconciliations and financial analysis, support audits, strengthen internal controls (fixed assets), back up cash management, drive process improvements, and mentor junior accounting staff.

Lead planning and execution of engineering and construction projects from design through construction. Serve as primary client contact, manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, procurement, change orders, and reporting while ensuring safety, compliance, and final acceptance.

Lead and transform procurement function: manage and mentor team, develop sourcing strategies, run RFx and negotiations, manage supplier relationships, reduce TCO, ensure supply resilience and procurement governance across plants.

Design and troubleshoot electrical systems for industrial chemical facilities: develop plans, perform short-circuit/arc-flash/power studies (ETAP), size equipment, review drawings and P&IDs, support plant startups and turnarounds, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Optimize and control gelatin production processes to improve yield, quality, efficiency, and cost. Lead process improvement projects, support engineering initiatives, ensure SHEQ and regulatory compliance, run experiments and validations, train staff, and document SOPs.

Lead and execute financial, operational, and IT audits; develop the annual audit plan; assess risks and internal controls; report findings and advise senior management; support compliance, remediation tracking, and use data analytics to improve governance and processes.

Provide full administrative support to three Executive Committee members: manage calendars and meetings, organize travel, prepare and format presentations and documents, take structured minutes, support leadership events and HQ departments, and handle urgent ad hoc requests onsite in Brussels.

Design electrical systems for industrial chemical facilities including power distribution, schematics, wiring, equipment layout, and installation details. Perform short-circuit, arc-flash and power studies, size transformers/cables/feeds, review drawings/specs, support plant troubleshooting, assist project proposals, and coordinate with clients, contractors and other engineering disciplines. Provide on-site support for turnarounds and startups; develop budgets and select electrical components.
