Build AI-enabled, programmatic LLM tools and workflows to accelerate Systems Engineering (requirements, traceability, baselining). Integrate with SE systems (Jama, Confluence), ensure governance and auditable outputs, run pilots to drive adoption, and improve tooling robustness (testing, packaging, CI, cost/performance controls). On-site at Ottawa HQ (≥4 days/week).

Provide technical leadership for evaluation, design, validation and deployment of user terminal antenna technologies (ESAs, phased arrays, tracking reflectors) across fixed, mobility, maritime, aeronautical, and land-mobile applications. Define antenna requirements, perform system-level modeling and testing, lead supplier engagements and design reviews, support certification and qualification, and advise product and systems engineering on antenna architectures, RF integration, and performance trade-offs.

Lead and manage the end-to-end SOX/ICFR program, including risk assessment, scoping, governance, testing oversight, remediation tracking, external auditor liaison, and AuditBoard optimization to ensure audit-ready controls.

Provide technical support for in-orbit satellite subsystem operations, flight dynamics, and satellite control systems. Support integration, testing, validation, automation, procedures, SOC CONOPS, telemetry trending, training, and engineering oversight of satellite controllers to maximize fleet health and availability.

Lead evaluation and definition of next-generation LEO system capabilities focusing on air-interface evolution, wireless network architecture, and advanced payload features. Perform quantitative trade studies, develop ConOps and high-level requirements, support PHY/MAC performance studies, guide roadmap and documentation, and present technical solutions across commercial and engineering stakeholders.

Evaluate and evolve Lightspeed system architectures, perform system-level trade studies, collect requirements, define ConOps, support performance evaluations and validation, develop technical documentation, and present technical findings to stakeholders.

Provide L2 support and maintain eastern teleport infrastructure and remote sites. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on RF/IF hardware, operate monitoring/control systems, implement network and customer system changes, document procedures, travel frequently for installations and repairs, and supervise contractors or junior staff.

Lead integration, development, testing and validation of satellite control systems and operations products for a LEO network. Define SOC CONOPS, maintain procedures, support automation and SDP analytics, provide engineering oversight and training to satellite controllers, and manage SCS deliveries and operational performance.

Monitor and control Telesat Lightspeed LEO satellites from the Satellite Operations Centre: execute scheduled and unscheduled activities, analyze telemetry, upload and monitor orbit/attitude maneuvers, respond to anomalies, report deficiencies, maintain operational software tools, and coordinate with flight operations engineers and engineering teams.

Enable agile delivery across one or multiple teams using a scaled agile framework. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, coach teams on Agile practices, manage backlogs, coordinate dependencies, report delivery metrics, and drive continuous improvement to ensure predictable, high-quality outcomes.

Manage departmental budgets, prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, monitor actuals versus plan, coordinate pre-procurement documentation, track expenses and travel claims, support accruals/capitalization and financial reporting, analyze financial data, and provide administrative support to engineering management and cross-functional stakeholders.
