Define SOC CONOPS, maintain procedures, support automation and SDP analytics, provide engineering oversight and training to satellite controllers, and manage SCS deliveries and operational performance.

Lead requirements for Revenue Management BSS across quote-to-cash and record-to-report. Elicit, document and trace functional/non-functional requirements, partner with Finance/Commercial/vendor teams, support design/configuration in Agile teams, define UAT/test cases, validate deliveries, and facilitate cross-functional stakeholder workshops for billing, monetization, revenue assurance and revenue recognition.

Monitor and control Telesat Lightspeed LEO satellites from the Satellite Operations Centre: execute scheduled and unscheduled activities, analyze telemetry, upload and monitor orbit/attitude maneuvers, respond to anomalies, report deficiencies, maintain operational software tools, and coordinate with flight operations engineers and engineering teams.

Lead system-level verification and validation for a LEO SATCOM system. Develop verification matrices, test plans, test cases and execute hands-on RF and data-path testing in the LEO lab. Configure RF test equipment, coordinate OTA and system acceptance activities, collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams, and ensure product meets technical, performance and business requirements.

Own and evolve Azure-based cloud infrastructure and GitLab CI/CD for a polyglot monorepo. Design/maintain AKS, Terraform modules, Docker/Helm artifacts, automation scripts, and observability. Ensure reliability, security, and scalable deployments while collaborating with multiple engineering teams and maintaining documentation and runbooks.

Lead verification and validation of feeder and user satellite links for the Telesat Lightspeed LEO system. Design verification matrices, plan and execute link tests (coverage, fading, interference, outages), perform hands-on lab testing with channel emulators and RF test equipment, act as DVB-S2X/DVB-RCS2 link-layer SME, and coordinate with antenna, modem, RF, and OTA teams to ensure end-to-end link performance and system acceptance.

Lead NOC/CSR implementation and operations for LEO services, develop technical/administrative plans, integrate supervisory/BOSS systems, manage fault detection/resolution, liaise with sales/engineering/vendors, produce procedures and training, and support 24/7 shift operations with occasional field work.

Monitor and control Telesat-operated satellites, perform scheduled and unscheduled operations, analyze telemetry for anomalies, execute and schedule orbit/attitude maneuvers, validate control systems, report discrepancies, maintain documentation, and support ground control equipment and software. Coordinate with Flight Dynamics, Satellite Engineering and customer teams while maintaining proficiency with computer systems and custom analysis tools.

Lead coordination and execution of system verification and validation for Telesat Lightspeed ground infrastructure. Manage test environments, verification matrices, integration coordination, and system readiness reviews to ensure on-time deployment and OTA/system acceptance testing.

Develop and maintain system verification and validation plans for Telesat's LEO communication system. Lead RF and system-level test planning, execution, and reporting; configure RF test equipment; support component/subsystem design and testing; maintain lab hardware/software configurations; collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure products meet technical, performance and business requirements.

The Senior Systems and Software Architect will design, develop, and test embedded software systems for LEO satellites, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Guide integration and test teams for satellite systems using Agile (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe). Facilitate ceremonies, prioritize test/integration backlogs, support PI planning, drive defect management, promote automation and CI, report progress/risks, and improve Agile maturity across cross-disciplinary teams.

The Senior Director of LEO Satellite Operations will develop and manage the operations of the Lightspeed satellite constellation, overseeing system requirements, team building, and operational procedures for successful deployment and operation.

Lead Flight Dynamics for the Lightspeed LEO constellation, owning orbital operations, SSA, maneuver and station-keeping strategy, CONOPS across mission phases, team leadership, FD system development, cross-team coordination, and go/no-go operational decisions.

Lead engineering for in-orbit operations of Lightspeed LEO satellites: integrate and validate SatOps systems, develop SOC products and automation, maintain procedures, provide engineering guidance and training, drive telemetry analytics and SDP development, and oversee CONOPS across LEOP and routine operations.

Manage design, delivery, and continuous improvement of SatOps training programs and technical documentation. Schedule and facilitate sessions, maintain competency and certification records, consolidate vendor training, oversee document control and knowledge-base materials, ensure compliance and collaboration with engineering, HR, and safety teams.
