The machinist also identifies manufacturing issues and supports their resolution while meeting quality and production targets.

Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, inspection methods, tooling, fixtures, and production controls. Lead lean and Six Sigma improvements, process validations, engineering changes, capital expenditure justifications, and manufacturing launches. Provide DFM feedback, troubleshoot production issues, support CNC programming, maintain technical documentation, and mentor engineering staff. Collaborate with production, quality, customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include tooling changes, offsets, quality measurements, hand finishing, preventive maintenance, GMP/GDP documentation, safety compliance, productivity tracking, housekeeping, and continuous improvement. The machinist records production activities, escalates manufacturing issues, and supports resolution efforts while meeting quality and performance targets.

Manages manufacturing and logistics operations under the General Manager, overseeing production schedules, quality, costs, delivery, maintenance, safety, and employee performance. Develops operational plans and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and TPM principles. Ensures QMS compliance, OSHA adherence, customer lot acceptance, inventory control, and operational efficiency. Provide Tier II technical support via phone, remote tools, or in person; troubleshoot complex issues; maintain network availability and security; install hardware/software; manage printers/scanners and backups; assist disaster recovery and internal audit; document IT systems and recommend process improvements.
