Quality Engineer II responsible for ensuring product/process quality through testing, inspection, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, documentation, and continuous improvement in manufacturing or product development environments.

Lead development and implementation of cost-effective manufacturing processes and inspections, drive process improvements using Lean/Six Sigma, support product launches, provide CAD/CAM and CNC programming support, develop manufacturing documentation (PFMEA, control plans), lead validations (IQ/OQ/PQ), and mentor engineering staff while ensuring compliance with medical device regulations and quality standards.

Operate and set up CNC machines (including progressive and Swiss-type machining) to produce precision parts within tight tolerances. Perform tooling changes, routine maintenance, hand finishing, quality checks using measuring equipment, recordkeeping, follow GMP/GDP and 5S standards, support continuous improvement, and escalate manufacturing issues to supervisors.
