Software Engineering Interns will help design, maintain, and scale infrastructure supporting Talos’s digital asset trading and settlement platform. Responsibilities include contributing to CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, deployment tooling, monitoring, logging, observability, and production performance improvements. Interns will collaborate with engineering teams to implement infrastructure requirements and gain exposure to distributed systems, cloud platforms, Linux, networking, and platform engineering during a 12-week summer internship.

Software Engineering Intern joining the Trading team for Summer 2027. The role involves building high-performance trading system features in Go, enhancing the Order Management System, designing components, contributing to architectural discussions, and adding analytics and metrics. The intern will collaborate with engineers to define requirements, demonstrate progress, and iterate based on feedback while supporting algorithmic trading capabilities and best execution.

Supports quantitative trading analysis by analyzing proprietary market data, developing execution signals and impact models, creating visualizations, backtesting trading features, and evaluating algorithm performance. The intern will work with quantitative analysts on execution strategies, market microstructure, statistical analysis, and client-facing research materials. This is a 12-week, New York-based internship requiring advanced Python, pandas, SQL, computational finance, statistics, mathematics, and exposure to machine learning.
