Supports quantitative trading analysis by analyzing proprietary market data, developing execution signals and impact models, creating visualizations, backtesting trading features, and evaluating algorithm performance. The intern will work with quantitative analysts on execution strategies, market microstructure, statistical analysis, and client-facing research materials. This is a 12-week, New York-based internship requiring advanced Python, pandas, SQL, computational finance, statistics, mathematics, and exposure to machine learning.

Summer 2027 Software Engineer Intern supporting Talos’s RFQ trading platform. Responsibilities include designing distributed-system components in Go, collaborating with trading teams, preparing technical documentation, participating in architecture discussions, adding analytics and metrics, and demonstrating project progress. The role requires a Computer Science student graduating in 2028, prior backend production experience, proficiency in a compiled language, strong communication skills, autonomy, and local presence at the NYC headquarters.

Own strategic relationships with major financial institutions, develop account plans, identify expansion opportunities, and drive commercial outcomes. Build executive and cross-functional stakeholder relationships, lead discovery and strategic engagements, translate client needs into product inputs, and influence internal teams without formal authority. Maintain Salesforce account records, provide competitive intelligence, and guide clients through digital asset, trading, custody, settlement, and infrastructure initiatives.
