The Tax Accountant prepares complex tax returns, provides tax planning and client recommendations, and collaborates with tax staff and clients to improve processes and deliver exceptional service.

Lead Talley's tax practice for high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses. Provide strategic tax advisory, oversee complex tax compliance (1040, 1065, 1041, 1120-S), mentor staff, drive business development, collaborate across service lines, improve practice operations, and position for partner advancement.

Prepare federal and state individual, partnership, corporate, and fiduciary tax returns; assist with tax projections, planning, and research; communicate with clients and teams; use tax software and Excel; leverage AI and automation to improve workflows; participate in process improvements and professional development within a CPA firm environment.

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns (individuals, partnerships, S and C corps, trusts), perform tax research, advise clients on tax planning, handle notices, mentor staff, improve processes, and use tax software and Excel for complex, multi-state and foreign reporting. Participate in training and 40 hours CPE annually and collaborate with partners and managers to deliver client-focused services.

Lead and grow the Audit & Assurance practice by managing complex audit engagements, mentoring staff, driving process and technology innovation (AI/automation/analytics), expanding cross-selling across service lines, and developing client relationships with entrepreneurially driven businesses toward partnership.
