The Director of Product at Tala will oversee product strategy for embedded lending partnerships and lead the design and execution of credit products, ensuring robust integration and performance optimization across various markets.

Own and document accounting and finance reporting queries and logic across markets; support external audits; reconcile loan-level and cash rollforwards; migrate reports to version-controlled Presentation Layer/dbt; ensure audit-ready traceability and fast regulatory reporting.

Own credit strategy and performance for expansion and partnership portfolios. Monitor KPIs, design approval/pricing/limit policies, lead partnership underwriting, translate data into decisioning improvements, and collaborate with Product and Data Science to implement risk strategies and pilot evaluations.

Lead development of a real-time Operational Intelligence "Control Tower" for workforce management across Customer Care and Recoveries. Build automated Looker/Snowflake dashboards, optimize dialer strategy (Five9/Amazon Connect), deliver executive intelligence briefs, mentor real-time analysts, and drive cross-functional optimization to align staffing and campaign pacing with recovery targets.

Build and maintain automated reporting pipelines and AI-driven analytics, support ad-hoc operational reporting, perform weekly/monthly performance deep-dives, build forecasting models, design self-service dashboards, and establish data governance for consistent operational metrics.

The Legal Director will provide expert legal guidance on global capital markets transactions, corporate governance, and commercial contracts, while supporting business operations and strategic initiatives.

Partner with product leadership to drive product strategy and profitability through financial modeling, forecasting, business case development, unit-economics analysis, and reporting. Provide cross-team integration, present insights to senior management, and influence decisions to optimize revenue, costs, and product gross margins.

Design, implement, and automate cloud-native infrastructure and application security on AWS/GCP. Build defense-in-depth controls, hardening, vulnerability management, detection, response, and container/Kubernetes security. Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and SREs; support incident triage and use automation (including Python) and AI to optimize SecOps.

Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites for backend services and mobile apps. Integrate tests into CI/CD, support releases, test third-party integrations, collaborate cross-functionally, and continuously improve test tooling and processes.

The Senior Backend Engineer will design and maintain backend services, APIs, and data integration layers, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability for Tala's platform.

Analyze full-scale customer interaction data to identify friction points, sentiment trends, and quality gaps. Propose process and script improvements, perform qualitative audits on edge cases, correlate behaviors with CSAT/NPS, and deliver monthly VoC research briefs to Product and Growth teams.

Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and suites for backend services and mobile apps. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD, validate third-party integrations, partner with cross-functional teams to define quality strategies, and leverage AI tools to improve test design and debugging.
