Own day-to-day finance and operations for an early-stage hardware startup: manage spend controls and Ramp, ensure accounting accuracy and reconciliations, maintain cap table in Pulley, own monthly forecasts and department budgets, negotiate vendor contracts and insurance, support board/investor questions, and lead cross-functional strategic modeling and diligence tasks.

Lead hardware scaling from late-stage engineering into high-volume manufacturing. Own NPI builds (EVT/DVT/PVT), factory readiness, SOPs, test station deployment, supplier management, BOM cost modeling, and yield/cycle-time optimization across global CMs to ensure on-time, low-defect ramps and predictable unit economics.

Hands-on RF hardware internship focused on characterizing RF signal chains and bringing up transceiver evaluation hardware. Work includes prototyping circuits, designing PCBs and test fixtures, using lab instruments (VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generator), developing automated test setups with Python and embedded C/C++, analyzing measurement data, and producing validation procedures and engineering recommendations. Interns own focused projects and collaborate with RF and validation engineers onsite in San Francisco.

Participate in a one-time, in-person human-computer interaction study (1–4 hours) in San Francisco or San Jose. Wear a non-invasive prototype, read provided English materials, follow study instructions, and give brief feedback. Participation is voluntary and paid $20 per hour via PayPal.

Lead architecture, development, and productionization of embedded firmware for battery-powered wearable neurotech/audio devices. Own realtime data acquisition, connectivity, power management, bootloaders, OTA, debugging, validation, manufacturing test systems, and reliability practices while collaborating cross-functionally to optimize performance and power.

Design, implement, and optimize embedded firmware and NPU/DSP runtimes for on-device ML. Build realtime sensor-to-inference pipelines, optimize latency, memory, and power, debug hardware/firmware interactions, and collaborate with ML, electrical, and product teams to deliver production-grade edge intelligence.

Build and run full-cycle technical recruiting for hardware, software, firmware, ML/AI, and GTM roles. Create sourcing strategies, structured interview loops, pipeline metrics, candidate experience, and partner with founders and hiring managers on hiring, offers, onboarding, and visa coordination.

Lead architecture and transistor-level design for ultra-low-power, frequency-agile CMOS RF sensing. Define RF front-end, synthesizer, and power-management approaches; stand up RFIC design flows; simulate and design critical blocks; manage tape-out, bring-up, and external partners; and build the internal silicon team and IP strategy.

Build and own end-to-end internal product stack and demo/data-collection applications. Prototype HCI features, run experiments, streamline data pipelines, implement real-time sensing demos, and create CI/CD and testing infrastructure while collaborating with ML, hardware, and design teams.

Provide executive support to the CEO (calendar, travel, meeting prep, documentation) and manage day-to-day office operations including supplies, vendors, facilities, and planning onsite and offsite events. Improve workflows, handle internal communications, and ensure the workspace runs smoothly in a fast-moving startup.

Develop and optimize deep learning models to decode multimodal biosignals from custom sensors for real-time inference on edge hardware. Build neural architectures, fusion techniques, evaluation frameworks, and collaborate with hardware engineers and neuroscientists to deploy and benchmark models across users and datasets.

Lead architecture, design, and production of mixed-signal neurotech consumer hardware. Own schematic and PCB design, power systems, high-speed interfaces, board bring-up, validation, and manufacturing ramp (EVT/DVT/PVT), collaborating with mechanical, firmware, and software teams to optimize performance, thermal behavior, and reliability.

PhD-level internship to design, simulate, prototype, and test antenna systems. Duties include EM simulations, PCB layout support, measurement with RF test equipment, prototype integration, on-body characterization, and documentation to support product development and manufacturability.
