Administer and secure Azure Government cloud environments for a government customer. Responsibilities include subscription and application hosting management, identity and access administration, vulnerability and STIG compliance, CTO response, network and firewall troubleshooting, software updates, scripting with Azure CLI and PowerShell, service desk issue resolution, and technical communication. The role requires active Secret or Top Secret clearance, Security+ or equivalent certification, and an Azure or identity certification or equivalent experience.

Supports enterprise teams with research, data gathering and validation, presentations, administrative tasks, collaboration, and project activities. The intern applies academic knowledge, participates in training, contributes process-improvement ideas, assists with problem-solving, communicates with colleagues, and develops professional skills through feedback and networking.

Develops operational use cases, executes SATCOM waveform conformance tests, integrates RF and network test equipment, analyzes packet traffic and test data, prepares formal test plans and reports, and briefs technical results to government and industry stakeholders. Supports Protected Tactical Waveform, PATS, and WGS certification activities while collaborating with mission partners.

Leads complex defense acquisition and systems engineering projects across requirements development, acquisition planning, technical evaluation, lifecycle management, sustainment, logistics, and modernization. Develops acquisition documents, cost and feasibility analyses, technical assessments, schedules, risk analyses, executive briefings, and decision-support materials. Coordinates government, engineering, contracting, logistics, suppliers, and other stakeholders while supporting Army and Department of War technology programs.

Supports defense and government manufacturing programs through production engineering, manufacturing-readiness assessments, configuration and technical-data management, acquisition support, lifecycle sustainment, quality improvement, supply-chain resilience, and industrial-base development. The role conducts technical, cost, schedule, and production-risk analyses; evaluates suppliers and manufacturing capabilities; prepares decision-support documentation; supports engineering changes and audits; and coordinates stakeholders across engineering, logistics, acquisition, contracting, and program management.

Design, integrate, and maintain secure multi-enclave network architectures meeting NSA CSfC and DoD/Army requirements. Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, routing, VRF, IDS/IPS, virtualization, Windows and RHEL systems, and SIEMs. Develop automation scripts, produce architecture and test documentation, perform vulnerability assessments, and support lab, integration, and field activities with up to 25% travel.
