Provides comprehensive pediatric nursing care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, care planning, medication administration, treatments, education, care coordination, documentation, handovers, and evaluation of outcomes. The Staff Nurse collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams, supports evidence-based practice and performance improvement, supervises junior staff and students, promotes patient safety, and responds to emergencies according to organizational policies.

Provide high-quality, evidence-based dermatology care, supervise and train junior medical staff, participate in ward rounds, consultations, on-call rotations, audits, quality improvement, multidisciplinary care, documentation, research, and comply with hospital policies and licensing requirements.

Develops and maintains competency-based continuing education for nurses across specialties. Assesses learning needs, designs and evaluates curricula, provides specialty orientation and bedside consultation, leads evidence-based practice and research, monitors clinical competence and staff performance, maintains records, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports staff development.

Coordinate and implement facility-wide quality improvement, accreditation, and regulatory readiness. Collaborate with departments to monitor performance, develop action plans, maintain quality documentation, support quality teams, liaise with accreditation bodies, and ensure validated data and timely project completion to improve patient safety and outcomes.

Lead implementation and maintenance of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS). Conduct risk assessments, business impact analyses, and develop continuity plans. Coordinate with IT/HIM for data recovery, train stakeholders, support audits and regulatory/JCI compliance, participate in emergency response via HICS, produce BCMS reports, and recommend improvements. Report to Readiness and Continuity Manager.

Accountable for operational, fiscal, and personnel leadership of one or more patient care units. Plans, directs, and evaluates nursing services 24/7; manages budgets, staffing, quality improvement, compliance, and risk; develops staff leadership, education, and shared governance; collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and senior leadership to ensure safe, effective, patient-centered care.

Provide primary and shared optometry care for ophthalmic conditions: perform ocular histories and visual assessments, refraction, diagnostic imaging (OCT, visual fields, fundus), slit-lamp exams, tonometry, contact lens fitting, pediatric cycloplegic refraction, counsel patients, participate in quality and safety activities, and maintain licensure and mandatory training.

Audit inpatient and outpatient medical records for accurate DRG assignment and coding, identify documentation improvement opportunities, educate physicians and staff, perform clinical validation audits per AHIMA guidelines, prepare findings and training, and ensure coding/billing compliance with regulatory standards.

Manage planning, coordination, budgeting, and delivery of medium-to-large clinical trials projects through full lifecycle. Lead cross-functional teams, ensure adherence to SSMC project management methodologies, maintain project documentation, and report on progress while enforcing budget control and change management.

Provide and coordinate patient-centered nursing care for OPD apheresis patients including assessment, planning, implementation, medication administration, education, documentation, handover, emergency response, supervision of junior staff, and participation in evidence-based practice and quality improvement.

Provide clinical care for patients with injuries and common illnesses: examine, take histories, diagnose and treat conditions, order and interpret tests, prescribe therapies, counsel on prevention and lifestyle, design treatment plans, update charts, consult and refer to specialists, and comply with medical laws.

Perform and record EEGs, long‑term video monitoring, evoked potentials, and nerve conduction studies; apply electrodes per 10-20 system; recognize artifacts and annotate findings; assist with EMG, maintain equipment and supplies, and prepare technical EEG/EMU reports to support physician interpretation.

Lead and coordinate nursing care in an OPD gastroenterology unit, ensuring safe, efficient, patient-centered care. Oversee staffing, resource allocation, clinical performance, mentoring, education, quality improvement, incident reporting, discharge planning, and compliance with professional standards and infection-control policies.

Provide high-quality, evidence-based orthopedic patient care under consultant supervision; supervise and train junior medical staff; participate in ward rounds, on-call rotas, multidisciplinary care, audits, quality improvement, and clinical research; maintain licensure, regulatory compliance, and hospital policies.
