Tenure-track Assistant Professor teaching mechanical engineering courses and laboratories, with emphasis on thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, transport phenomena, and thermal and fluids systems. The role includes curriculum development, undergraduate research, interdisciplinary collaboration, service, student mentoring, and contributions to women’s leadership education and engineering recruitment.

Supports the Dean of the College by resolving student academic concerns, advising on graduation pathways, supporting retention initiatives, coordinating with campus offices, assisting admissions, serving on committees, and potentially teaching Leadership Core Curriculum courses. The role requires strong communication, conflict resolution, collaboration, and knowledge of undergraduate academic policies and student success practices.

Provide daily care for horses at the college riding center: feed, water, turnout, blanketing, basic first aid, stall cleaning, recordkeeping, laundry, facility upkeep, and assist in supervising student workers.

Provide career advising and workshops for students, oversee and expand the internship program, coordinate career events and employer visits, manage employer databases and communications, support assessment and reporting, supervise student workers, handle office administration, and assist with student transportation to off‑campus career events.
