Lead day-to-day HR delivery across a multi-site, multi-entity group during maternity cover. Responsibilities include employee relations, recruitment, payroll coordination, onboarding, benefits, learning and development, engagement, people reporting, compliance, and acquisition integration. The role manages a People Advisor and Recruitment Lead, advises senior stakeholders, supports UK employment law compliance, and improves HR processes, controls, and employee experience.

Work onsite at Hinkley Point C performing setting out, as-built surveys, installing site control, producing as-built drawings, liaising with designers, ensuring quality control, health and safety monitoring, keeping site diaries, and resolving technical issues.

Independently install, maintain and decommission manual and automated monitoring programmes (sensors, ATS, IoT). Collect and process monitoring data, produce reports (structural movement, noise, dust, vibration, tilt), maintain equipment, perform levelling surveys, support automated monitoring and IoT deployments, mentor technicians, and follow health & safety procedures.

Lead design, development and continuous improvement of business applications and integrations across the Microsoft stack. Identify AI and automation opportunities, build AI-enabled workflows, manage systems integration (APIs, data flows), run projects from business case to benefits realization, and manage third-party suppliers to deliver measurable operational improvements.

Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, reconciliations and financial controls for assigned subsidiaries. Provide financial reporting, variance analysis, WIP and revenue recognition support, assist with acquisitions, integrations, statutory reporting, audit requests, and process improvements while partnering with operational teams.

Support the marketing team to generate MQLs/Sales Qualified Leads via account-based email campaigns, lead generation (Glenigan, LinkedIn, internal databases, events), customer feedback collection (NPS, Google Reviews via email/text/WhatsApp), and support organic SEO and website engagement growth. Work cross-functionally with regional operations and sales.

Lead and execute sales and marketing strategy for growth in the civil engineering surveying and monitoring sector. Manage and mentor cross-functional sales and marketing teams, oversee market research, brand development, budgets, forecasts, and client relationships to drive revenue and long-term partnerships.
