Supports the sales team throughout the sales cycle by handling customer communications, entering orders and quotes, tracking orders through shipment, assisting with pricing and product questions, preparing reports, conducting market research, and coordinating with Operations and Shipping. Learns company products, systems, and sales processes while contributing to team performance and developing toward future inside and outside sales opportunities.

Supports outside sales by managing bid requests, entering project details into CRM systems, reviewing blueprints and quotes, coordinating estimates, processing contracts and orders, generating leads, and managing key accounts. The role also covers sales territories, communicates with market managers, and provides customer service while ensuring bid and sales processes remain accurate and organized.

Certifies steel product lots against industry standards and customer specifications by reviewing material certificates, test results, and processing data. Maintains LIMS and supports metallographic sample preparation, microscopy, laboratory equipment calibration, and preventive maintenance. Participates in ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 quality systems, audits, and documentation. Supports Operations and Quality teams with troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of material quality issues and test failures.
