Responsibilities include recruiting and managing creators across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube; designing and executing campaigns; testing acquisition strategies; managing budgets, tracking performance, and reporting results. The role will initially build the creator program in-house and may expand into broader growth-focused content ownership.

Own Supabase’s new media strategy across X, LinkedIn, podcasts, YouTube, and emerging channels. Grow company and founder accounts, ghostwrite in executive voices, book high-profile appearances, support launches, and lead communications during incidents, funding announcements, and other high-stakes moments. The role requires distinctive writing, technical fluency, sound judgment, strong account-growth experience, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment.

Build and maintain Supabase’s public Python SDK across database, authentication, storage, realtime, and edge functions. Develop natural sync and async APIs, manage typing, packaging, testing, release automation, documentation, and issue triage. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and open-source contributors, support multiple Python environments, maintain WebSocket functionality, and design migration paths for API changes. Work autonomously in a remote, asynchronous environment while making the SDK accessible to developers and AI coding agents.

Embed with service teams to define SLIs/SLOs and error budgets, run Operational Readiness Reviews, improve incident-to-improvement pipelines, advise on resilience and architecture, reduce operational toil through automation, and shape org-wide on-call practices and operational maturity.

Build and maintain FinOps data pipelines, BigQuery and dbt models, cost attribution systems, forecasting and anomaly detection models, and cost-versus-revenue analytics. Identify and implement AWS and GCP savings opportunities, automate governance with Python, Terraform, and Lambda, and partner with Engineering, Finance, Product, and leadership on cloud costs, forecasting, reporting, and architecture decisions.

Design, build, and operate Supabase’s multi-region compute platform, including provisioning, orchestration, autoscaling, warm pools, resource optimization, observability, and reliability improvements. The role involves operating large Kubernetes clusters, improving infrastructure automation and architecture, responding to incidents, participating in on-call rotations, and resolving systemic platform issues. Strong Go and TypeScript skills, AWS experience, distributed systems knowledge, and cloud infrastructure expertise are required.

Design, build, and operate distributed platform services and APIs using TypeScript and Go. Improve scalability, reliability, observability, and cost efficiency; develop data-intensive workflows and event-driven pipelines; manage SLIs/SLOs, incident response, CI/CD, and production releases. Partner with product teams on end-to-end delivery, write design documents and tests, and participate in on-call rotations for large-scale systems.

Own the Supabase Realtime product surface, including Broadcast, Presence, and Postgres Changes. Develop the roadmap, prioritize developer problems, shape user experience with Engineering and Design, and align GTM teams. Manage packaging and pricing, analyze product usage data, and guide Realtime’s evolution for collaborative, event-driven, and AI applications. Own the Supabase Auth product roadmap and developer experience across authentication, authorization, identity, SSO, MFA, passkeys, OAuth, organizations, and multi-tenant applications. Collaborate with customers, Engineering, Design, Security, and GTM; use product data to prioritize improvements; define authentication for AI agents; and align teams on product plans and rationale.

Provide high-touch support to the CEO by managing calendar, inbox, travel, meeting preparation, follow-ups, and confidential communications. Partner across the company to improve coordination, anticipate needs, and enable executive decision-making in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.

Package and release OrioleDB within Supabase’s PostgreSQL platform using Nix, manage upgrades, expand self-service release systems, optimize CI/CD, and resolve customer deployment issues. The role also maintains testing and stability practices, supports multi-architecture builds, integrates OrioleDB into the hosted product, and mentors engineers on Nix-based workflows in a fully distributed environment.

Provide advanced technical support for Supabase and PostgreSQL, investigating customer issues across databases, authentication, storage, realtime services, edge functions, and client libraries. Reproduce bugs, identify root causes, advise customers on performance and architecture, support migrations, escalate actionable issues to engineering, improve documentation and tooling, and mentor junior support staff. Requires fluent Japanese and English communication and availability during Japan business hours.

Own Supabase and AWS joint co-marketing across gaming, enterprise, startup, and AI segments. Produce campaigns, case studies, enablement assets, partner documentation, and executive-event content; coordinate with AWS field and marketing teams; identify campaign audiences with RevOps; and represent Supabase independently in partner discussions.

Build and automate cloud cost optimization and governance across AWS and GCP. Analyze billing and usage, identify and implement savings, maintain cost attribution, create reporting and anomaly detection, and write Python, Terraform, and Lambda automation. Partner with Engineering, Finance, Product, and leadership on architecture tradeoffs, forecasting, budgeting, and cost accountability.

Design, build, and operate Supabase’s global edge and networking infrastructure, including routing, load balancing, DNS, WAF, TLS termination, CDN integrations, and observability. Improve latency, reliability, security, and cost efficiency across cloud regions. The role includes developing automated routing systems and CI/CD, troubleshooting distributed systems, participating in on-call and incident response, and collaborating with infrastructure and product teams.

Lead Supabase’s Billing engineering team, overseeing people management, hiring, roadmap delivery, technical direction, partnerships, and incident response. Own systems covering subscriptions, usage-based billing, invoices, payments, taxation, entitlements, collections, and provider integrations.
