Lead corporate accounting operations and financial reporting for a multi-entity utility-scale solar EPC and development company. Responsibilities include financial close, consolidated statements, GAAP compliance, audits, internal controls, project accounting, treasury, tax reporting, budgeting support, ERP optimization, and accounting team leadership. The Controller will partner with project, engineering, construction, finance, legal, HR, and executive teams while supporting growth, project financing, and lender and investor reporting.

Provides clerical and administrative support through document preparation, filing, records management, scheduling, office coordination, supply ordering, mail handling, travel assistance, and executive or departmental support. Maintains accurate confidential records, coordinates signatures and onboarding documents, manages calendars and meetings, and supports contracts, purchase orders, vendor packets, and special projects.

Processes vendor invoices, employee expense reports, purchase order matching, general ledger coding, and weekly payments via checks, ACH, and wires. Maintains vendor tax documentation, resolves discrepancies, reconciles accounts payable during month-end close, monitors aging payables, supports audits, and collaborates on job costing. Requires accounting software and Excel proficiency, strong organization, attention to detail, and effective communication.

Provides administrative and operational support for utility-scale solar construction sites. Maintains project documentation, reports, logs, personnel records, and compliance files; coordinates onboarding, scheduling, travel, meetings, deliveries, vendors, payroll support, and communications among site teams, corporate departments, subcontractors, and clients. Works primarily at active construction sites and may support extended hours, weekends, and project-related travel.

Leads project accounting for utility-scale renewable energy and electrical infrastructure projects. Oversees project costs, forecasts, profitability, revenue recognition, WIP reporting, financial close, cash flow, billing, and compliance with GAAP and ASC 606. Partners with operations, procurement, contracts, and project leadership; conducts site visits; manages accounting personnel; improves processes, reporting, and ERP capabilities; and supports audits and lender reporting.

Owns project accounting for EPC and construction projects, including cost tracking, budgets, commitments, forecasts, billing, WIP, percentage-of-completion accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and profitability analysis. Partners with project management, procurement, project controls, and corporate accounting to identify variances, support cash-flow forecasting, and maintain accurate project financial records.

Leads monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across complex multi-entity structures. Manages consolidations, intercompany activity, close processes, reconciliations, variance analysis, audit support, reporting controls, and stakeholder communication. Uses NetSuite and advanced Excel tools to prepare financial statements and ad hoc analyses while ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance and reporting accuracy.

Provides corporate and commercial legal counsel across business operations, renewable energy, real estate, and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, advising business leaders, supporting governance and corporate transactions, managing legal risks, coordinating litigation matters, and maintaining compliance programs. The role requires a licensed attorney with a Juris Doctor, 3–5+ years of general corporate law experience, strong contract and governance knowledge, and practical business judgment.

Manages the full contract lifecycle for utility-scale solar and EPC projects, including drafting, negotiation, execution, amendments, change orders, claims, compliance, and risk mitigation. Partners with legal, procurement, project, engineering, construction, and finance teams to align commercial terms, manage obligations, support dispute resolution, and ensure contractual governance throughout project delivery.

Directs strategic procurement for utility-scale electrical, transmission and distribution, substation, and photovoltaic projects. Leads sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, long-lead equipment procurement, expediting, supplier performance, procurement schedules, controls, and KPIs. Manages vendors for transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, steel, bus systems, and protection and control equipment while partnering with engineering, project management, construction, and finance teams.
