The GIS Specialist will design and maintain geospatial data systems, automate workflows, integrate GIS outputs into dashboards, and present spatial insights to enhance business operations in energy sectors across Africa.

Oversee and maintain IT infrastructure across Ethiopia, including networks, servers, endpoints, operating systems, call center VoIP systems, and cybersecurity controls. Provide user support, troubleshoot hardware and software, deliver IT training, document solutions, manage IT procurement and vendors, and respond to critical incidents outside normal working hours.

Own the quality engineering strategy and platform across Android, web, API, and backend systems. Design and maintain comprehensive manual and automated testing for complex distributed architectures, lead root-cause analysis, define quality metrics, integrate testing into CI/CD, and certify releases and production hotfixes. Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps teams, conduct QA automation code reviews, identify production risks, monitor field issues, and mentor junior quality engineers.

Manages zonal credit and collection activities for PAYG solar products. Responsibilities include improving credit processes, mitigating operational risks, implementing audit recommendations, conducting spot checks, investigating fraud, identifying customer default risks, preparing field reports, escalating red flags, and using customer data to improve onboarding and payment performance. The role also includes people management, reporting, customer interaction, and collaboration with the Credit Manager.

Plans and coordinates programs, pilots, and projects; manages CRM administration, technical issue escalation, MDM platforms, PAYG device configuration, field support, process documentation, testing, reporting, dashboards, and stakeholder follow-up. Conducts monthly field visits, gathers agent feedback, tracks project progress, and drives issue resolution and process improvements across departments.

Partners with business leaders across Ethiopia to align HR initiatives with business priorities. Advises on employee relations, policies, performance, recruitment, learning and development, employee engagement, records management, and employment-law compliance. Manages the full performance cycle, including improvement plans, disciplinary processes, and annual reviews, while strengthening people processes and workforce effectiveness.

Supports the establishment and execution of Ethiopia’s end-to-end operations model, covering imports, customs clearance, warehousing, inventory, fulfillment, distribution, reverse logistics, procurement, and vendor management. Develops SOPs, controls, reports, and performance frameworks; monitors KPIs, service levels, costs, inventory accuracy, and regulatory compliance. Coordinates suppliers, clearing agents, freight partners, warehouses, 3PLs, transporters, and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable product flow and continuous process improvement.

Manage Ethiopia’s customer engagement and service operations across call center and field teams. Establish performance models, KPIs, SLAs, reporting, workforce capacity, and quality standards. Lead coaching, training, appraisals, attendance, disciplinary processes, and team-manager development. Coordinate with Operations, Finance, HR, and Sales, resolve remote-work issues, optimize resources, and build an accountable, customer-centric high-performing team.

Oversee Ethiopia’s tax compliance, statutory audits, internal controls, accounting operations, and IFRS-based financial reporting. Manage month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, imported shipment costs, and audit readiness. Partner with regional and global finance teams and cross-functional departments to provide financial insights, resolve compliance matters, strengthen controls, and support business decisions.

Executes Ethiopia-level marketing strategy, integrated campaigns, product launches, retail and field activations, customer messaging, sales enablement, and partner coordination. Tracks campaign KPIs, sales performance, customer insights, ROI, competitor activity, and market trends, producing regular performance reports and recommendations. Collaborates with regional marketing, Sales, Product, Customer Care, Programs, agencies, media houses, printers, and activation partners to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, engagement, and growth.

Own Ethiopia’s zonal training strategy and translate it into measurable commercial performance. Design and localize curricula, personally deliver onboarding, certification, refresher training, and sales clinics, and coach field teams across regions. Build trainer capability, manage training staff, enforce quality standards, analyze dashboards and performance data, and report results. Partner with commercial, product, marketing, risk, and operations teams while traveling 60–70% or more across Ethiopia.

Manage after-sales service operations across Ethiopia, including warranty claims, customer complaints, SAP transactions, service orders, spare-parts inventory, reverse logistics, reporting, and SLA monitoring. Maintain accurate master data, reconcile transactions, support system upgrades, investigate service issues, and coordinate with customers, partners, logistics, sales, finance, and service teams. The role also develops data-entry standards, identifies process improvements, and provides performance insights to management.

Supports Microfinance Institution partners by providing product information, resolving customer and channel issues, managing branch inventory, driving territory sales, supporting marketing activations, training partner staff, handling aftersales and warranty needs, and consolidating market, sales, travel, branch, and stock reports. The role requires extensive field travel across Sierra Leone and Liberia, strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, and sales execution skills.

Designs and maintains SAP-integrated ETL/ELT pipelines connecting ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and cloud data platforms. Responsibilities include SAP data extraction, transformation, real-time integrations, dimensional modeling, database optimization, data quality monitoring, alerting, cost optimization, and documentation. The role partners with functional consultants, BI teams, FP&A stakeholders, and business leaders while developing cloud skills across AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, Airflow, and Redshift.

Supports Microfinance Institution partners and drives consumer sales across assigned channels and territory. Responsibilities include inventory management, customer and channel query resolution, trade activations, marketing campaign support, partner staff training, aftersales and warranty fulfillment, competitor reporting, branch visits, and sales and stock reporting. The role requires extensive travel, strong communication, local-language fluency, problem-solving ability, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Manages after-sales warranty claims, customer issue resolution, SAP service and inventory transactions, data audits, spare parts inventory, reverse logistics, reporting, and SLA performance in Zambia. Coordinates with customers, retailers, service centers, logistics, finance, and internal teams. The role requires Portuguese and English fluency, strong problem-solving and communication skills, ERP expertise, and experience in after-sales, inventory, logistics, or reverse logistics operations.

Coordinates and delivers field training across Madagascar, manages Litmos learning data and adoption, conducts audits, supports onboarding, coaches Regional Mentors, and aligns learning with sales and collections priorities. The role assesses field performance, develops practical training content, tracks KPIs, reports learning outcomes, and travels approximately 50% to assigned locations.

Coordinates supply chain operations across procurement, imports, exports, logistics, warehousing, inventory, and retail locations in Madagascar. Maintains ERP and CRM accuracy, prepares inventory and demand-planning reports, manages suppliers and 3PL providers, monitors KPIs, reconciles stock, resolves operational issues, and supports process improvements and regulatory compliance.

Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for off-grid solar and residential energy storage products. Implement and debug low-level drivers and application software (battery charge/discharge, MPPT, MCU low-power, HMI), integrate wireless modules, perform hardware debugging and product maintenance, and produce technical documentation while collaborating across hardware and product teams.

Lead advanced analytics and statistical evaluations to inform strategic decisions. Build experiments (A/B testing), predictive models, KPIs and dashboards (Tableau/Looker/Power BI), partner with engineering on data pipelines, and present actionable insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive growth and operational improvements.
