Plans and executes risk-based testing, manages defects, validates builds, supports console certification, and contributes to release readiness. The role includes functional, regression, exploratory, compatibility, platform, and play testing, plus collaboration with development, design, production, publishers, and external QA. It also involves mentoring, QA reporting, bug triage, and process improvement.

Design and prototype levels for AAA PC and console games, including traversal, exploration, combat, stealth, and narrative spaces. Implement and iterate missions in open-world environments using Unreal Engine 5, collaborate with art, audio, and narrative teams, and own gameplay areas through peer review, feedback, and continuous improvement.

Create and implement high-quality real-time visual effects for PC and console games, including fire, explosions, smoke, water, weather, dust, destruction, and environmental effects. Optimize particle systems, textures, shaders, and assets for console performance while collaborating with leads, art directors, designers, and UK-based teams. Contribute creatively to the game’s visual style, manage milestones, solve problems independently, and mentor junior VFX artists.
