Administers Linux systems and networks in classified Department of Defense high-performance computing environments. Responsibilities include network maintenance, configuration management, patch and software validation, system upgrades, backups and recovery, capacity planning, inventory tracking, troubleshooting, helpdesk support, documentation, reporting, and compliance with DoD, DISA, USCYBERCOM, and Joint Staff guidance. The administrator also supports configuration and engineering review boards and coordinates network changes with government stakeholders.

Lead design, deployment, configuration, and management of security solutions for Navy/DoD IT environments. Conduct vulnerability analysis, SCAP scans, STIG implementation, risk assessments, accreditation, audits, TEMPEST testing, malware scanning, incident troubleshooting, and provide cybersecurity guidance to IT teams.

Designs, implements, and maintains master data management solutions; analyzes, cleanses, and enriches data; ensures data governance and integrity; troubleshoots MDM issues and provides recommendations to the Government.

Support and administer Navy Enterprise Network systems: diagnose hardware/software/network issues, manage NET asset database, assist data migrations and tech refreshes, maintain SOPs and documentation, handle IM/IA data calls, and provide user support for shared drives and public folders.

Lead and manage IT program operations for a DoD/Navy contract: supervise technical leads and staff, oversee budgets, schedules, risk mitigation, contract management, customer briefings, hiring/onboarding, and ensure delivery of database, network, system administration, cybersecurity, information assurance, and related support services.

Support a DoN customer by performing IT and network acquisition analysis, planning, integrated logistics support, enterprise architecture, and program cost analysis. Track project/program status and schedules; must have DoD/Navy experience and an active Secret clearance.

Provide systems configuration, troubleshooting, analysis, and database development for DoD customers. Design data models, data flow, interfaces, and architectures; support AI integration with cloud infrastructures; produce database design reports; consult with stakeholders and implement upgrades, patches, and application modifications.

Provide data analysis and BI support within a data warehouse team: design data structures, develop systems and interfaces, write SQL and Cognos reports/dashboards, validate and document data, and support customers through troubleshooting, requirements gathering, and problem resolution.

Lead data governance and information management activities: develop policies, data architecture, integration, analytics, and visualization solutions; provide lifecycle support for software and cybersecurity artifacts; consult on AI/data application requirements; curate and manage data; deliver training and continual improvement feedback.

Lead proactive threat hunting across DoD/Navy networks, identifying and mitigating advanced adversaries. Apply hunt methodologies, analyze telemetry and network/endpoint data, support DFIR and threat intelligence, develop detection logic and playbooks, and produce actionable reports for technical and executive stakeholders.

Provide Red Hat/Linux systems administration and technical consulting in a DoN RDT&E environment: design and implement network architectures, administer servers and clustered systems in classified/unclassified networks, support workstations and applications, manage backups, software distribution, licensing, and user access, and collaborate with engineers and vendors.

Provide on-site and phone help-desk support for RDT&E network users, manage Active Directory accounts and IP assignments in the IPA database, monitor User Assistance mailbox, track tickets in ServiceNow/BMC Remedy, and help develop SOPs for user assistance.

Apply systems engineering and data analysis to construct reliable data products, analytic models, and interactive dashboards (Qlik, Streamlit) using DoD analytics platforms (Advana). Curate and standardize force management data, translate operational needs into requirements, support lifecycle planning, integration, documentation, and stakeholder training for DoD decision support.
