Commercial Counsel will manage the full lifecycle of commercial contracts, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and execution. The role develops contracting templates, playbooks, approval processes, and automation; advises on key contractual provisions; collaborates with business, engineering, finance, IT, security, and executive teams; and supports broader corporate and operational legal matters in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Manage accurate bi-weekly, multi-state payroll through Rippling, including tax support, reconciliations, compliance, employee inquiries, leave adjustments, and audit documentation. Support accounts payable through vendor maintenance and transaction review, and accounts receivable through invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution. Assist with month-end close, internal controls, process documentation, and broader accounting projects while handling confidential financial and employee information.

Design, build, test, troubleshoot, and improve mechanical hardware for Nova, a reusable launch vehicle. Responsibilities include creating CAD models and engineering drawings, developing prototypes and production-ready designs, collaborating with manufacturing teams, investigating root causes, conducting hardware testing, and balancing performance, manufacturability, reliability, cost, and schedule. The role requires hands-on engineering, clear documentation, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and ownership from concept through fabrication and testing.

Own structural integrity for Nova launch vehicle modules or subsystems. Lead structural analysis across engineers, translate requirements, develop models and load cases, support testing and validation, close materials and loads database gaps, review stress work, identify risks, and mentor engineers. The role focuses on reusable aerospace structures, launch vehicles, propulsion systems, and structural mechanics.

Develop and lead system safety and reliability analyses for a reusable launch vehicle, including FHA, FMECA, FTA, and HAZOP. Integrate analyses across vehicle stages and subsystems, quantify failure probabilities, identify system-level reliability improvements, manage interdisciplinary design risks, and communicate findings to engineers, the FAA, Space Force, and launch customers.

Develop guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for reusable launch vehicles and spacecraft across launch, orbit, reentry, and landing. Build and validate vehicle and environment models, conduct simulation and Monte Carlo analyses, perform rigorous verification and testing, document regulatory evidence, and oversee customer trajectory designs through flight operations. Collaborate with hardware teams on control devices and system interfaces while owning GNC capabilities throughout the vehicle lifecycle.

Develop system architectures and requirements for future reusable launch vehicle iterations. Translate customer and business objectives into technical concepts, ConOps, functional capabilities, and product breakdowns. Conduct first-order analyses and trade studies across engineering disciplines to estimate performance, mass, power, cost, and reliability. Support architectures through design, integration, testing, and flight operations while identifying and mitigating lifecycle risks.

Develop flight safety simulation models for Nova launch, reentry, and landing operations. Model vehicle failures, breakup debris, debris trajectories, and expected casualties using Monte Carlo analysis and population data. Partner with reliability and system safety engineers to demonstrate compliance with public and range safety requirements, and communicate results to the FAA, Space Force, customers, and leadership.

Design and develop Rust-based automation frameworks and abstractions for distributed vehicle and hardware control systems. Build ground and vehicle automation, establish user-facing guardrails, write software tests, and support hardware testing for benchtop checkouts, engine hotfires, and flight objectives.

Engineering interns will work on open-ended projects supporting Stoke’s reusable Nova launch vehicle across mechanical, test, avionics, and manufacturing teams. Responsibilities may include engineering design and analysis, CAD, manufacturing, PCB and harness integration, test operations, and hazardous operations. Interns will manage technical projects, apply engineering fundamentals, collaborate with mentors, and contribute to real rocket products while working onsite for 10–14 consecutive weeks.

Summer 2027 interns will work onsite in Kent, Washington, solving open-ended business and operational problems under mentorship. Responsibilities may include managing complex projects, analyzing workflows, supporting strategic planning, researching aerospace regulations, assisting with contracts, or contributing to sales and marketing growth initiatives. Interns must work full-time for 10–14 consecutive weeks beginning in May 2027 and apply quickly learned techniques to high-impact projects.

Summer 2027 software interns will work onsite in Kent, Washington, contributing to software projects across Boltline, Vehicle Software, and Data teams. Responsibilities may include full-stack development, real-time and embedded control software, test-stand systems, and converting launch data into analysis and insights. Interns will own open-ended projects through design, implementation, testing, and deployment while working with mentors and engineering teams.

Leads the Integrations team for Boltline, managing people, product priorities, software development processes, hiring, and career development. Owns product requirements, backlog, project execution, code quality, and stakeholder communication while contributing hands-on through code reviews and building, operating, and maintaining integrations with external platforms. The role requires strong SaaS engineering experience, integration expertise, incident response participation, and end-to-end feature ownership.

The Sr. Front-End Full-Stack Developer will design, implement and maintain features for a commercial software platform, collaborating closely with teams and ensuring high quality through testing and operations.

Responsible for developing, commissioning, and operating new launch systems, overseeing ground operations, and ensuring safety protocols during launch campaigns.
