Manages the used vehicle department, including inventory appraisal, purchasing, merchandising, reconditioning, sales performance, staffing, compliance, auctions, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Leads used-vehicle salespeople, establishes goals and follow-up systems, supports deal closing, oversees employee management, and ensures accurate documentation and delivery procedures. Maintains market knowledge, monitors inventory results, and coordinates with dealership leadership and service operations.

Solicits wholesale automotive parts business from assigned and prospective customers through in-person and phone contact. Visits accounts, communicates orders to the warehouse, coordinates special orders and delivery instructions, obtains pricing approvals, follows up on customer service, maintains customer records, completes reports, and represents the organization professionally. The role also requires inventory-system proficiency, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and compliance with background, drug, and motor vehicle screenings.

Performs automotive accounting activities including posting vehicle deals, verifying figures and documents, reconciling schedules, processing vehicle records, and ensuring regulatory and company-policy compliance. Collaborates with sales and finance teams, communicates discrepancies, performs general office duties, and maintains accurate accounting records using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Guide customers through the full vehicle purchase process on the showroom floor and sales lot. Meet monthly unit and profit targets, ensure accurate paperwork and finance handoffs, maintain high CSI scores, build follow-up systems for repeat/referral business, complete OEM training, and introduce customers to service department while complying with automotive retail laws.
