Program, set up, and operate 2-axis CNC lathes (Okuma Genos L250 II) for precision aerospace parts. Create and optimize G-code/CAM programs, interpret CAD/GD&T, select tooling, design fixtures, mentor teammates, troubleshoot machines, and support shop maintenance and assembly to ensure quality and repeatability.

Setup and operate 3- to 5-axis CNC mills, edit and optimize HAAS G-code, interpret drawings/CAD/CAM and GD&T, perform fixtures and first-article inspections, maintain programs and tooling records, mentor teammates, assist with shop maintenance and assembly, and support aerospace-quality machining and process optimization.

Set up and operate 2-axis CNC lathes for precision aerospace components. Edit and optimize OKUMA G-code, interpret drawings/CAD/GD&T, perform first-article setups, inspect parts, maintain shop records, select tooling, and assist with shop maintenance, deburring, and assembly. Mentor teammates and improve machining processes for quality and repeatability.

Build and lead the factory EHS program: ensure Cal/OSHA and environmental compliance, manage hazardous materials and permits, deliver safety training, conduct hazard assessments with engineering, investigate incidents, maintain OSHA recordkeeping, and scale the EHS team and processes.

Define and optimize factory workflows, staffing, and layouts to meet production rate and quality targets. Build and maintain factory metrics (throughput, yield, cycle time, WIP, OEE), lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions, support rate ramps and NPIs, own scheduling and production planning tools, and drive continuous improvement in partnership with engineering, quality, supply chain, IT, and EHS.

Lead and define Starpath's hardware industrial design language. Generate CAD concept designs, iterate with engineering to create buildable hardware, produce visualizations and design standards, lead reviews, and ensure cohesive product family aesthetics across space-grade robotics, solar arrays, and factory equipment.

Own and maintain the rover's embedded Linux platform: kernel, drivers, BSP, device tree, pin muxing, and boot chain. Implement interface software for CAN, RS-485, USB, CSI, and Ethernet devices. Own OTA updates and design fault detection/recovery systems. Collaborate with autonomy, control, and electrical engineers to deliver reliable, flight-ready platform software.

The role involves developing and testing software for lunar rover localization, requiring expertise in non-GPS techniques and working with real robots.

Lead design, analysis, qualification, and testing of mechanical systems for a lunar/martian rover. Own architectures, perform trade studies, define requirements, validate subsystems in simulated launch/Lunar environments, and integrate cross-functionally to meet flight readiness.

Lead end-to-end technical recruiting for aerospace and deep-tech roles. Own ATS, build sourcing pipelines for niche engineering specialties, partner with engineering leadership on intake and interview design, set comp philosophy, establish recruiting metrics, and eventually hire and lead a talent team while ensuring compliance with export and pay-transparency regulations.
