Own the architecture, design, analysis, testing, qualification, and production transition of spacecraft rotary actuators and deployment mechanisms for solar arrays. Responsibilities include drivetrain sizing, structural and thermal analysis, tribology and lubrication strategy, qualification testing, design reviews, failure investigations, supplier and manufacturing collaboration, and mentoring engineers. The role requires integrating motors, gearheads, bearings, sensors, and control systems for reliable operation in vacuum, thermal-cycling, launch, and mission environments.

Design, analyze, qualify, and deploy avionics systems for lunar and Martian propellant-production platforms. Own electrical systems from requirements through flight execution, conduct trade studies, define qualification testing, validate hardware in simulated space environments, and coordinate electrical, thermal, and software integration. The role requires electrical board design, testing expertise, and experience developing spaceflight electrical systems.

Design, analyze, qualify, test, and deploy avionics subsystems and components for spaceflight applications. Own systems from requirements through flight execution, establish qualification criteria, validate hardware in simulated launch and lunar environments, and collaborate across electrical, thermal, software, and systems teams to meet integration milestones.

Own and maintain the rover's embedded Linux platform: kernel, drivers, BSP, device tree, pin muxing, and boot chain. Implement interface software for CAN, RS-485, USB, CSI, and Ethernet devices. Own OTA updates and design fault detection/recovery systems. Collaborate with autonomy, control, and electrical engineers to deliver reliable, flight-ready platform software.

Lead and define Starpath's hardware industrial design language. Generate CAD concept designs, iterate with engineering to create buildable hardware, produce visualizations and design standards, lead reviews, and ensure cohesive product family aesthetics across space-grade robotics, solar arrays, and factory equipment.

The role involves developing and testing software for lunar rover localization, requiring expertise in non-GPS techniques and working with real robots.

Early-career engineers (interns and recent-graduate associates) own scoped hardware or process projects across mechanical, electrical, software, materials, chemistry, manufacturing, and test. Responsibilities include design, analysis, fabrication, testing, manufacturing improvements, participating in design reviews, and presenting work under senior engineering mentorship.

Lead design, analysis, qualification, and testing of mechanical systems for a lunar/martian rover. Own architectures, perform trade studies, define requirements, validate subsystems in simulated launch/Lunar environments, and integrate cross-functionally to meet flight readiness.
