Supports student application, enrollment, and alumni processes through application processing, document and data tracking, status reporting, follow-up communications, and records maintenance. Communicates with students, parents, and partner organizations; processes evaluations and recommendation letter requests; maintains mentor and mentee records; and contributes to workflow documentation and implementation. The role requires organized, detail-oriented, independent work in a remote environment, with approximately 10–12 travel days annually.

Leads professional learning and instructional coaching for high school science teachers, develops and pilots research-based STEM instructional materials, and supports program implementation, evaluation, and partner engagement. The role emphasizes inquiry-based learning, authentic research practices, chemistry expertise, teacher growth, equity, and collaboration in a fully remote environment with regular travel.

SSPI solicits candidates for future Summer Science Program roles (Academic Directors, Site Directors, Teaching Assistants/Residential Mentors). All positions are in-person for ~6 weeks on a university campus, combining hands-on STEM research instruction, residential mentorship, logistics, and community building. Academic Directors require a PhD and teaching experience; Site Directors need leadership, organizational skills, and 5+ years working with teens; TAs are ideal for advanced undergraduates or early graduate STEM students with mentorship experience.
