The Senior Electrical Engineer will design electrical systems for transportation and public infrastructure projects, develop project documents, interact with clients, and coordinate technical engineering tasks.

SRF Consulting Group seeks interns for various engineering disciplines related to transportation. Interns may work part-time or full-time with potential for full-time positions post-graduation. Applicants should be enrolled in relevant engineering or planning programs and possess good communication skills.

The Traffic Engineer will work on transportation projects, mentoring staff, developing designs, and collaborating with teams on traffic and ITS projects.

Lead scheduling for transportation projects (BRT, LRT, roadway/bridge) by preparing conceptual through construction schedules, using Primavera P6/Acumen/Bluebeam/On-Screen Takeoff, managing discipline tasks, supporting medium-to-large projects, leading client-facing schedule efforts, and mentoring/developing staff while ensuring schedules meet company standards.

Process and verify vendor invoices and employee expense reports, code GL entries, prepare check and ACH payment batches, reconcile vendor statements, prepare 1099s and sales/use tax returns, assist month-end close, support audits, maintain AP documentation, and provide AP-related client support. Use Deltek Vantagepoint/PAT and ERP tools.
