Supports transit planning projects involving data collection and analysis, service and operating plans, performance measures, GIS mapping, equity analyses, public engagement, client presentations, and technical writing. Collaborates with clients and project teams across transitway, route planning, transit-oriented development, and community engagement initiatives. Interacts with transit riders and communicates complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Assist civil engineering design teams with roadway and infrastructure layouts, plans, reports, studies, contract documents, and project cost estimates. The intern will work up to 40 hours weekly during summer, with part-time school-year scheduling available. The role is based in Minneapolis and may lead to full-time employment after graduation.
