Supports the Aftersales business through weekly KPI reporting, forecasting, budgeting, management reporting, and variance analysis. Partners with commercial and operations teams to explain performance drivers, monitor service revenue, utilization, renewals, warranties, and consumables trends. Maintains installed-base and financial data across ERP and Salesforce, contributes to capacity planning, presents insights to management, and improves reporting processes. The role also supports month-end activities and offers accountancy qualification development.

Analyzes manufacturing costs, standard costs, inventory valuations, and production variances. Supports month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, audits, physical inventory controls, and IFRS compliance. Partners with manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, and finance teams to improve costing accuracy, margin visibility, reporting, and operational controls. Builds Excel-based cost models and reconciliations while investigating inventory discrepancies and supporting corrective actions.

Owns sales growth for a liquid handling and sample management portfolio across Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska. Responsibilities include territory planning, lead generation, product demonstrations, trade show participation, CRM management, consultative selling, opportunity development, pre-sale activities through purchase order, and post-sale support. The role requires building relationships with genomics, protein crystallization, and drug discovery laboratories while collaborating with sales specialists, applications, product management, support, and marketing teams.

Lead a small UK/US IT team to run day-to-day IT operations: own helpdesk, asset and user lifecycle, M365 administration, networking troubleshooting, procurement, documentation, security operations, and infrastructure support while reporting operational metrics to the IT Director.

Develop and maintain embedded C/C++ firmware for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers in laboratory robotics. Implement motor and actuator control, integrate sensors and third-party modules over CAN/Ethernet/UART/SPI/I2C, design firmware architecture, ensure reliability and diagnostics, debug hardware/software interactions, contribute to PC-side C# .NET code, mentor junior engineers, and produce technical documentation.
