Perform moderate-to-complex general accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, account analysis, financial statement preparation, audit support, variance analysis, and recommendations to management. Provide customer service to internal/external stakeholders and assist with budgeting and close processes.

Partner with Category Managers to execute category business plans (assortment, pricing, promotion, shelf placement); manage vendor promotions and contracts; support seasonal inventory, item lifecycle, ad proofing, and resolve store pricing issues across cross-functional teams.

Perform financial and operational analysis for assigned business areas, prepare monthly variance, profitability and cost analyses, support operational decision-making, advise management, participate in special projects and quarterly board package preparation, and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX.
