Coordinates front-office healthcare operations by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, managing demographic and EMR data, processing payments, maintaining patient accounts receivable, reconciling daily clinic information, and handling deposits. The role also manages telephone communications, appointment reminders, supplies, petty cash, building maintenance requests, prescription distribution, and confidential HIPAA-protected information.

Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations, prepare invoices and journal entries, maintain accounts payable/vendor files, review and post transactions to the general ledger, assist with audits and benefits reconciliations, research discrepancies, and follow internal controls and HIPAA confidentiality requirements.

Provides primary care for children, adolescents, and adults under physician supervision: history-taking, physical exams, diagnosing and treating acute/chronic illness, ordering/interpreting tests, prescribing medications and therapies, performing minor procedures, delivering preventive care, counseling patients, and providing care in-clinic, offsite events, or via telehealth.
