Directs nursing operations for a 58-bed long-term acute care unit, overseeing clinical quality, regulatory compliance, staffing, budgeting, performance improvement, education, recruitment, and patient-care coordination. Leads specialty services such as wound care and dialysis, maintains survey readiness, investigates adverse events and grievances, develops policies and goals, mentors nursing leaders, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Performs cleaning and sanitization of assigned hospital areas using chemicals and janitorial equipment, maintains supplies and linen availability, follows safety protocols, and meets physical demands including lifting and sustained standing.

Provides direct nephrology nursing care for patients receiving renal replacement therapies. Performs dialysis initiation/termination, assessments, vitals, medication administration, documentation, lab draws, patient education, and participates in care planning, staff training, quality activities, and coordination with multidisciplinary team members.

Oversees and supervises clinical operations on the night shift, ensuring safe, effective patient care and regulatory compliance. Manages staffing, assigns duties, coordinates patient throughput and discharge planning, responds to emergencies, coaches and evaluates nursing staff, and acts as the facility lead in the absence of administration.

Provide direct hemodialysis patient care under RN supervision: collect and document vitals and blood samples, set up and monitor dialysis machines and RO water system, perform cannulation and dialyzer handling, maintain infection control, respond to alarms/emergencies, document in electronic systems, and support inventory and training.

Inspect, maintain, calibrate, test, and repair dialysis and related biomedical equipment. Perform preventative maintenance, water and dialysate cultures, diagnostics, and documentation to ensure compliance with safety standards and performance requirements. Install, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment under the Dialysis Manager's supervision.
