Operate CNC and conventional machines to fabricate aerospace parts, monitor production and part quality, interpret basic blueprint dimensions and tolerances, use calipers and micrometers, deburr and blend machined parts, perform routine machine maintenance, complete paperwork, and maintain a safe, clean work area.

Program and optimize 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mill operations for aerospace parts. Create toolpaths, setup sheets, tool lists, and post-processed programs using CATIA and Mastercam. Review CAD drawings, select cutting tools, calculate feeds and speeds, simulate programs, support machine prove-outs, optimize fixturing and machining sequences, and collaborate with engineering, quality, operations, and project management to resolve technical and production issues.

Creates, optimizes, and updates CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining and sheet metal equipment. Plans production setups, determines material sizes and part quantities, develops tooling and workholding methods, and prepares setup sheets, tool lists, shop drawings, and other production documents. Supports machine operators, troubleshoots program issues, and assists with tooling and method testing while maintaining current engineering standards.

Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations (assembly, machining or processing) with focus on safety, quality, and throughput. Plan schedules, supervise teams, set performance standards, run daily production meetings, and drive continuous improvement/LEAN projects. Ensure QA and regulatory compliance, develop training programs, coach employees, and use production metrics to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Manage import/export compliance, documentation, and customs processes. Maintain tariff classifications, coordinate with brokers, support duty refunds, analyze duty spend, partner with supply chain, ensure ITAR/EAR/OFAC compliance, and support audits and training.

Leads second-shift aerospace assembly operations, including drilling, riveting, bonding, fitting, measuring, and quality inspection. Assigns work, trains employees, monitors productivity, schedules workflows, troubleshoots production issues, enforces safety and quality procedures, and supports employee development and continuous improvement. The role also maintains an organized work environment and coordinates with production and other departments.

Leads facility-wide Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events, standard work, root-cause analysis, value stream mapping, cost reduction, quality improvement, and productivity enhancement. Coaches production and administrative teams, supports material flow and WIP improvements, analyzes operational data, tracks corrective actions, and sustains Lean processes. Requires manufacturing experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles.

Leads second-shift sheet metal fabrication activities, assigns work, coordinates production schedules and workflows, trains employees, monitors quality and productivity, troubleshoots issues, and enforces safety and company policies. Performs fabrication tasks including turret punching, forming, bending, drilling, deburring, and lineup. Uses measuring equipment to inspect parts and supports continuous improvement, employee development, and a clean, organized manufacturing environment.

Supports aerospace engineering projects through technical documentation, research, data gathering, CAD drawing creation, simulations, analysis, project scheduling, quality inspections, and technical reviews. Provides administrative and technical documentation support while collaborating with engineering teams. Requires current enrollment in an aerospace, mechanical, or related engineering degree program, strong academics, CAD familiarity, analytical ability, teamwork, and communication skills.

Operates and sets up 3-axis CNC machining centers and conventional machines to produce aerospace parts. Reads blueprints and GD&T, monitors machining processes, performs in-process inspections, deburs and blends parts, completes paperwork, conducts daily machine maintenance, and maintains a safe, clean work area. Lead cross-functional Quality Clinic to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and eliminate non-conformances. Maintain procedures, analyze process capability using statistical methods, track metrics, mentor team members, chair RCCA meetings, and drive continuous improvement in aerospace manufacturing.

Leads customer quality and satisfaction for North American operations. Manages customer quality teams, complaints, escalations, root-cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions, scorecards, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Partners with Operations, Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, and Customer Support to resolve quality concerns, reduce quality escapes, strengthen customer relationships, and communicate satisfaction trends and risks to senior leadership.
