Own end-to-end relationships with institutional financial clients, covering onboarding, daily file delivery, corporate actions, methodology inquiries, and issue resolution. Manage daily Toronto office operations, including supplies, vendors, facilities coordination, communications, meeting-room support, and employee events. Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and staff. Lead the upcoming office relocation, coordinate with building management and international office managers, and help maintain workplace health and safety standards.

Manage thematic equity indices through rules-based selection, weighting, rebalancing, and operational oversight. Research investment trends, maintain index algorithms, improve processes, and collaborate with engineers, analysts, and developers. Serve as a key contact for international institutional clients, especially across Asia, translating complex investment concepts into actionable insights while ensuring accurate and timely index delivery.

Provide L1/L2 production support for trading and market-data applications in Linux environments. Monitor systems, troubleshoot market connectivity, APIs, databases, data feeds, and distributed systems, and lead incident, change, and release management. The role includes SQL optimization, stakeholder communication, root-cause analysis, SLA ownership, monitoring and automation improvements, documentation, project leadership, and mentoring junior team members.

Lead the technical direction and architecture of the Index Setup platform. Design and deliver scalable, secure solutions across backend, frontend, data, infrastructure, APIs, and distributed services. Drive complex initiatives from ambiguous requirements through implementation, improve engineering standards and processes, conduct code and design reviews, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and business stakeholders to deliver maintainable, high-impact solutions.

Lead institutional client acquisition and full sales cycle for banks, asset managers, asset owners and insurers. Build C-level relationships, identify high-value opportunities, present Solactive index and FinTech solutions, negotiate deals, and collaborate with structuring and in-house teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Provide L1/L2 support for market‑data, index, and trading applications across distributed Linux environments. Monitor systems, troubleshoot real‑time issues, lead incident management, perform root‑cause analysis, execute SQL/database fixes, manage changes/releases (ITIL), collaborate with global teams, maintain runbooks, and drive platform improvements.

Operate, maintain, and automate on‑premise production infrastructure and self‑hosted Kubernetes clusters. Build automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform), manage storage (Ceph, ZFS, S3), monitoring (InfluxDB, ELK, LGTM), backups/DR, networking (BGP), virtualization (Proxmox, OpenStack), and maintain operational documentation.

Lead design, build, and operation of a scalable data platform powering index construction and analytics. Manage ~30 data engineers and operations staff, oversee ingestion, normalization, governance, and internal distribution of market and reference data, align platform capabilities with business needs, and drive cross-functional execution and innovation.
